Davina has worked in legacy administration for the past twenty years and is very fervent in assisting charities to maximise the income that they receive from the estates of their supporters. She went to Cambridge University and then qualified as a solicitor in 2000, specialising in private client work.
She has worked for several major charities and was Legacy Manager at the British Red Cross and then at the National Trust.
She has dealt with the full spectrum of legacy cases including pecuniary and residuary bequests as well as complex matters. The latter have included bequests of land, including overage provisions and development issues, as well as contentious matters including fraud, undue influence and incapacity claims.
In her spare time Davina is studying for a degree in archaeology and is also a Governor at a local special school.
